I grew up in Indian Trail, North Carolina, and dance has been part of my family for as long as I can remember! My love for dance started at the age of three, from there I attended two different competitive studios until I graduated high school in 2016. After high school I worked as a preschool teacher until I finished cosmetology school in 2018. I have had the pleasure of teaching others to dance for almost nine years! I had always dreamed of having my own space for everyone to feel welcome and important during their dance years. In 2018, after their first showcase Adrianna and I decided to join forces and open a dance studio where our dreams could come to life.
After opening our studio in 2020, I decided I wanted to open a competition team after our first year. Competition dance was a HUGE part of my life for so long and truthfully I wasn't ready to let that go. We have now completed our first competition season, and it has left me truly inspired for the following years. There can be quite a few "stigmas" that linger in the competition world. However, our goal is to break past those and continue to create a more loving, inclusive, and collaborative dance experience for everyone we meet!
My goal as an educator is to give each child the attention and love they deserve. In addition, I strive to push myself as a dancer and teacher to learn as much as I can in order to give my dancers the best dance experience.
